Karl is the Vice President – George at Asda and joined the business in 2022.

An accomplished executive with over 30 years’ experience working at a senior level in a variety of roles with the UK’s largest fashion and GM retailers including Marks & Spencer, Next, The Very Group, Mothercare and Reiss.

Karl started his retailing career as a young management trainee for Marks & Spencer in the 1980’s and has progressed his career through working in stores and Head Office. Karl has been a Retail Trust ambassador for over 10 years and has recently been appointed as Chairperson for the Asda Foundation.
