Sarah has more than 25 years’ experience in retail and the food system. She has been leading the IGD for 18 months, an organisation that has been uniting and inspiring the industry for over 120 years. The IGD is an insight and foresight business, that invests all its profits into delivering impact initiatives that directly benefit the industry and society.

For most of her career she has held Senior Commercial and Marketing roles, with her previous role as Group Quality Director at Tesco, responsible across the group for delivering high-quality safe products, sustainability, agriculture and regulatory compliance. This is where she developed her passion for working collaboratively to influence and drive change across the entire supply chain, mobilising the food and consumer goods industry as a force for good.
