With more than 15 years’ experience in the retail industry, Leanne Rothwell is Chief Executive of online marketplace Not On The High Street, which brings together 5.2 million customers with more than 5,500 small businesses selling over 300,000 products.
Prior to this, she was the brand’s Chief Commercial Officer and has been part of the business for 11 years, primarily in roles focused on its small business partners and category propositions.
During her time with the business, Leanne has overseen a 500% growth in its partner base and led all of Not On The High Street’s commercial efforts. Additionally, since stepping into her current role, she has spearheaded the company’s recent brand transformation, which is broadening its appeal and attracting a wider audience to its vibrant community of partners, as well as launching a strategic review in efforts to drive sustainable growth.
Prior to joining Not On The High Street, Leanne’s career was primarily spent in marketing/creative agencies supporting activation of brand campaigns for organisations including McDonald’s UK, Asda, Kerry Foods and Britvic.
Leanne is a member of the IMRG Retail Advisory Board and Adviser to Stress Matters, a female-founded mission-driven organisation set up to support workplace wellbeing.
